Ian Fahy

 

Ian Fahy gained his Accountancy qualifications in New Zealand, prior to working in the UK in finance and service roles. In the 1970s and early 1980s he worked with the shipping, antiques and service industries, including Avis Rent-a-Car, Fuji Xerox and Digital Equipment Corporation, Upon returning to New Zealand, he joined a major international consulting company and became a Director, and then a Country manager for new Zealand. Whilst working for this consultancy he met co-author Peter Isaac. In 1989 Fahy founded consulting company LSI in New Zealand, and later in Australia and Asia. He has wide consultancy experiences over a broad range of industries, including banking, building and construction, Information Technology, Dairy, Engineering, Health, Energy, and Manufacturing, Retailing and Transportation and his experience spans New Zealand, Australia and Europe. He has held a number of directorships including Challenge Realty, The Wine Society, and is a member of the new Zealand Institute of Directors, New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and Fellow of the chartered Secretaries of New Zealand.

Ian Fahy lives in Sydney, Australia and regularly commutes to New Zealand where he has business interests.
